アイスランド、2025/26漁期のマサバ漁獲枠を配分
Iceland Allocates Mackerel Quotas for the 2025/26 Fishing Season

アイスランド漁業局（Fiskistofa）は7月24日、2025/2026漁期のマサバ漁獲枠を発表した。今回の配分は、2025年12月にアイスランド、ノルウェー、英国、フェロー諸島の4か国が締結したマサバ管理協定に基づくもの。

海域別の配分は以下のとおり。

・ノルウェー・アイスランド・公海：6,405トン
・フェロー諸島・アイスランド・公海：9,419トン
・アイスランド・公海：975トン
・9月10日に追加開放予定（ノルウェー水域）：12,433トン

合計の配分量は29,232トンとなる。

ノルウェー水域およびフェロー諸島水域向けの漁獲枠は、アイスランド水域や公海でも利用できる。一方、アイスランド水域・公海向けの漁獲枠をノルウェー水域やフェロー諸島水域で利用することはできない。

また、ノルウェー水域での累計漁獲量が6,405トンに達した後は、同水域で漁獲したマサバはすべてNorges Sildesalgslag SAを通じて販売することが義務付けられる。

未使用の漁獲枠は最大15％まで翌漁期へ繰り越すことが可能。ただし、ノルウェー水域およびフェロー諸島水域の未使用枠は、翌年はアイスランド水域または公海でのみ利用できる。

このほか、FiskistofaはBクラス船向け500トンの特別枠についても申請受付を開始した。

なお、Fiskifréttirによると、4か国協定におけるアイスランドの実質的な配分量は約31,400トン（総TACの約10.5％）とされ、従来の16.5％から縮小したとしている。

The Icelandic Directorate of Fisheries (Fiskistofa) announced the mackerel quota allocation for the 2025/2026 fishing season on July 24. The allocation is based on the four-party mackerel agreement concluded in December 2025 between Iceland, Norway, the United Kingdom and the Faroe Islands.

The quotas are allocated as follows:

• Norwegian, Icelandic and international waters: 6,405 metric tons
• Faroese, Icelandic and international waters: 9,419 metric tons
• Icelandic and international waters: 975 metric tons
• Additional access to Norwegian waters from September 10: 12,433 metric tons

The total allocated quota amounts to 29,232 metric tons.

Quotas allocated for Norwegian and Faroese waters may also be used in Icelandic waters and on the high seas. However, quotas allocated for Icelandic and international waters cannot be used in Norwegian or Faroese waters.

Once the cumulative catch by Icelandic vessels in Norwegian waters reaches 6,405 metric tons, all mackerel caught in Norwegian waters must be marketed through Norges Sildesalgslag SA.

Up to 15% of unused quota may be carried forward to the following fishing season. However, unused quotas from Norwegian and Faroese waters may only be harvested in Icelandic waters or on the high seas during the following season.

Fiskistofa has also opened applications for a 500-metric-ton reserve quota for Class B vessels.

According to Fiskifréttir, Iceland’s effective quota under the four-party agreement is estimated at approximately 31,400 metric tons (about 10.5% of the total TAC), compared with the 16.5% share that Iceland had previously claimed.
