Norway and Russia Working to Set Meeting Date for Fisheries Commission: Minister Says an Agreement Is Still Possible
ノルウェーとロシアは、Den blandede norsk-russiske fiskerikommisjonen（ノルウェー・ロシア漁業委員会）の次回会合に向けて日程調整を続けているが、現時点で正式な日時は未定。Bergen での会議では「対話は継続しているが日程はまだ決まっていない」と説明された。
漁業大臣 Marianne Sivertsen Næss は、対ロ制裁の影響で課題はあるものの、
「ロシアと合意に至ることは依然として可能だ」
と述べ、協議継続の重要性を強調している。政治レベルでの接触はないが、行政レベルでの対話は継続中。
また、ノルウェーとロシアが共同管理する主要な魚種は、
最も重要な「torsk（タラ）」を筆頭に、「hyse（ハドック）」「lodde（カペリン）」「kongekrabbe（タラバガニ）」
などが続き、これらの資源管理が協議の中心となっている。

Norway and Russia are continuing preparations for the next meeting of the Joint Norwegian–Russian Fisheries Commission, although an official date has not yet been set. During a regulatory meeting in Bergen, Norwegian officials stated that dialogue is ongoing but no meeting schedule has been finalized.
Fisheries Minister Marianne Sivertsen Næss acknowledged that sanctions against Russia have created challenges, yet emphasized that
“it is still possible to reach an agreement with the Russians.”
While there is no political contact between the two countries, administrative-level communication continues.
The commission manages several key shared fish stocks, with the most important being cod (torsk), followed by haddock (hyse), capelin (lodde), and in recent years also red king crab (kongekrabbe). These species remain central to the bilateral negotiations.
