ノルウェーのサバ漁はまだ低調、北海ニシンとスプラットはまとまった漁獲
Norwegian Mackerel Fishing Remains Slow, While North Sea Herring and Sprat See Good Catches

Norges Sildesalgslagの第33週の漁況報告によると、ノルウェーのサバ漁はまだ本格化していない。

MøreからRogalandにかけての沿岸小型船によるサバの漁獲量は111.5トンで、サイズは220～350グラム。今年は沿岸へのサバの来遊が遅れているとの声があり、今後はNorskehavetへサバを探しに向かう船が出てくるとみられている。

一方、北海ニシンは合計6,276トンが報告された。このうち食用向けは4,650トンで、英国水域ではノルウェー船5隻とスウェーデン船2隻が操業。サイズは178～210グラムだった。また、魚粉・魚油向けには1,595トンが漁獲された。

スプラットもまとまった漁獲となり、ドイツのHelgoland北西のEU水域で5,825トンが漁獲された。

現在のところサバ漁は静かなスタートとなっているが、今後Norskehavetでの探索が始まり、漁が本格化するか注目される。

According to the week 33 fishing report from Norges Sildesalgslag, the Norwegian mackerel fishery has not yet started in full.

The small coastal fleet from Møre to Rogaland reported 111.5 tonnes of mackerel, with fish ranging from 220 to 350 grams. Fishermen say the mackerel has arrived late along the coast this year, and some vessels are expected to head to the Norwegian Sea to search for mackerel in the coming days.

Meanwhile, a total of 6,276 tonnes of North Sea herring was reported. Of this, 4,650 tonnes was for human consumption. Five Norwegian vessels and two Swedish vessels were fishing in British waters, where the herring ranged from 178 to 210 grams. Another 1,595 tonnes was caught for fishmeal and fish oil production.

Sprat catches were also strong, with 5,825 tonnes caught in EU waters northwest of Helgoland, Germany.

For now, the Norwegian mackerel season remains quiet, but attention is turning to the Norwegian Sea to see whether the fishery will pick up in the coming days.
